With planning underway for the upcoming War of 1812 bicentennial, collaboration among Maryland stakeholders is essential. To stimulate partnerships, the Maryland War of 1812 Bicentennial Commission presented a series of conferences to familiarize stakeholders with the many sites, stories, and organizations related to the War of 1812 in Maryland. Conferences were held in Southern Maryland, Prince George’s County, the Head of the Bay region, the Upper Eastern Shore, North Point, and Baltimore City.
